Kreidler Consulting Group on Thursday announced BJ Harden, J.D., will be joining the firm after spending six years as chief of staff to Kansas House Speaker Dan Hawkins. Harden brings vast experience to the position from the public and private sector, as well as the world of politics. His previous experience includes serving as assistant state treasurer, deputy secretary of transportation, deputy secretary of state and deputy chief of staff and legal counsel for former Kansas House Speaker Ray Merrick. In addition, Harden previously worked as deputy executive director of the Kansas Republican Party and in the private sector in management for a Topeka financial institution. Harden is a graduate of the Washburn University School of Law, a member of the Leadership Kansas class of 2021 and an alumni of the American Enterprise Institute Leadership Network. In his role, Harden will focus on political consulting, public policy, lobbying and legal compliance. “During my time in the statehouse I’ve watched the Kreidler Consulting Group develop into one of the most respected firms in the capitol. It’s an honor to join this growing organization and work with Kreidler Consulting Group to continue building upon their success,” Harden said. He will start June 24.
