MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Members of the Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested a Detroit, Michigan resident and confiscated a large amount of fentanyl in Morgantown.

Task force members confiscated 60 grams of fentanyl, cash, scales, and packaging materials from Lance Harris, 31, during a raid on a home on Statler Street.

Officials began the investigation after multiple reports of drug sales from the residence.

Harris has been charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
